Volume by Price Pro for MT5

0.00

The ‘Volume by Price’ indicator can visualize the complex relations between volume, price and time in easy to interpret forms to identify key levels and ranges. Features Volume Profile histogram, opacity-based background, area and line chart. Market Profile (Time Price Opportunity) expandable letter- and block-based marker structure, histogram, area and line chart. Volume by Time histogram and bubble chart

Advanced correlation analysis. Volume- and TPO-based Point of Control, High/Low Volume Nodes and Value Area. Volume classification by price action for a type of volume delta data of price- and time-based datasets. Initial Balance and Volume Weighted Average Price. Multiple level and range visualization methods, and integrate metrics panel. Comprehensive composition object positioning and styling options, including preset and custom bases for color gradients.

Absolute and relative range selection. Drag and drop range selection. Powerful range segmentation with session filtering. Presets for Sydney, Tokyo, London, São Paulo and New York. Session grouping for multi-day composites.

Highest detail real-time and historical 1-minute time frame dataset compilation for all chart time frames. Level and period sizes of dataset rows down to smallest which can be visualized adhering to the pixel perfect concept. Optimized, light-weight enough even for resource constrained devices.

Basic Relations

Volume Profile – Distribution profile of volume by price level.

Market Profile – Distribution profile of TPO (i.e., time period) by price level.

Point of Control (POC) – Price level with highest volume/TPO.

Value Area (VA) – Range of price levels with base on percentage of all volume/TPO.

High/Low Volume Nodes (HVN/LVN) – Ranges of price levels (i.e., nodes) with relatively high or low volume/TPO.

Initial Balance (IB) – Price range of initial time period.

Volume by Time – Distribution profile of volume by time period.

Data Coverage

High-quality analysis requires the best data coverage, especially configurations with small price level and/or time period sizes. Inspect data coverage quality on the metrics panel. Data availabilty depends on the terminal’s ‘Max bars in chart’ setting and brokerage provisioning.

Data Folder

Contains optional utilities, configuration resources, and files for keyboard shortcuts and on-chart controls. Content is created on first use, located in ‘\MQL5\Files\Volume by Price Indicator’ (‘\Tester\‘ for the Free Demo). For quick access use command ‘Open data folder’ in the File menu.

Data Folder

Free Demo

For use in terminal’s ‘Strategy Tester’. Volume price-based datasets limited to historical time frame data of the selected chart time frame, and chart time frame period as distribution rate. Time-based datasets limited to resolution of chart time frame period. To use session filters manually set the chart time frame to less than Daily (D1), preferably 15-minutes (M15).
