your Advanced Candle indicator is designed to exhibit four kinds of candles (containing non-standard ones) on the main chart:

Buffers are used to build the indicator, and graphical objects are used only for the current unformed candle.

It is possible to build several Advanced Candles on the same chart.

The indicator has the following settings:

  1. Type of display Candles-select the type of candles to display:
    • High time frame Candles – candles of a longer period;
    • Box Candles-candles of a given height;
    • Volume Candles-candles of the specified volume;
    • Trading session Candles-candles for trading sessions.
  2. Settings HTF Candles – settings for the candles a longer period:
    • Period Candles in minutes (max. 7200), multiple chart period – candle period in minutes (max. value 7200-weekly candle), the value must be a multiple of the chart period;
    • Candles offset ( /-) in minutes, multiply of the chart period – candles offset in minutes ( move right, – move left), multiple of a chart period. This parameter sets the offset of candlesticks, allowing you to build candles starting from any time. For example, H5 candles starting at 25 minutes of the hour.
  3. Settings Box Candles – settings for candles with a given height:
    • Type Box Candles – type of the specified candle height: in points or percentages;
    • min Height of the Candle – the minimum specified height of candles in points or percentages, respectively, for the selected type. Here the minimum height is because candlesticks of this type are built on the basis of candlesticks of the current chart, which can be larger than the specified size of candlesticks even on the M1 chart. Greater accuracy will be achieved on the M1 period of the main chart.
  4. Settings Volume Candles – settings for candles of a given volume:
    • min Volume of Candle – the minimum specified volume of the candle. Here the minimum volume is because candlesticks of this type are built on the basis of candlesticks of the current chart, the volume of which can be greater than the specified one even on the M1 chart. Greater accuracy will be achieved on the M1 period of the main chart;
    • Volume type – the type of volume, can be either tick volume tick Volume or real Volume, if such data is provided by the broker.
  5. Settings Session Candles – settings for session candles. The start and end times of sessions are set in hours, if you select do not display instead of at least one time, the session will not be displayed. Candles of this type are correctly displayed on the chart period H1 or less. For a larger period, there may be inaccuracies if the specified time is not a multiple of the chart period.
    • Begin Pacific session – start of the Pacific session;
    • End Pacific session – end of the Pacific session;
    • Begin Asia session – start of the Asian session;
    • End Asia session – end of the Asian session;
    • Begin Euro session and the beginning of the European session;
    • End Euro session – end of the European session;
    • Begin Usa session – start of the American session;
    • End Usa session – end of the US session;
    • Color Pacific session-color of the Pacific session candle;
    • Color Asia session – the color of the candle of the Asian session;
    • Color Euro session – the color of the candle of the European session;
    • Color Usa session – color of the candle of the American session.
  6. Global setting of candles – general settings for all candles.
    • Number day of displayed candles – the number of candlesticks is set in days. If the parameter is equal to or less than zero, the candlesticks will be drawn for the entire available history. For candles of the Box Candle and Volume Candle types, you must specify a multiple of the week (5 days) plus the number of days in the current week;
    • To consider transition to a new week-take into account the transition to a new week. This parameter allows you to control the transition between weeks, does not affect the Session Candle. If you select Yes, all types of candles will start with a new candle from Monday, regardless of how the candle ended last week. If No, then HTF Candle will start with a new candle from Monday, but taking into account the number of candles on the weekend, and Box Candle and Volume Candle will be built without taking into account the transition between weeks.
    • To display Candle shadows – whether or not to display candle shadows;
    • To draw shadows on the Candle middle – draw candle shadows classically in the middle or in places of the real position of extreme prices of this candle;
    • Vector display session – display or not the direction vector of the candle. Connects the opening time and price with the closing time and price of the candle;
    • To paint over a Candle background – whether or not to paint over the candle body;
    • Candles over the chart to draw candles on top of the chart;
    • Thickness of a candle line (in pixels) – the thickness of the displayed candles in pixels;
    • A growing Candle color-sets the color of the growing candle (does not affect the Session Candle);
    • A falling Candle color-sets the color of the falling candle (does not affect the Session Candle);
    • Doji Candle color-sets the color of the Doji candle (does not affect the Session Candle);
    • A growing Candle body color-sets the body color of the growing candle (does not affect the Session Candle);
    • A falling Candle body color-sets the color of the body of the falling candle (does not affect the Session Candle).
