General information

The Expert Advisor allows you to receive notifications on a mobile phone( or tablet computer), by e-mail or in the form of an audible signal about events such as opening and closing a trading position, setting and deleting a pending order, changing parameters such as price, Stop Loss or Take Profit, reaching the level specified in the settings by the account balance, collateral level, drawdown, own or free funds. You can specify the interval with which notifications will follow, configure a template for text messages that arrive on a mobile phone or email, specify an audio file that will be used for notifications. The Expert Advisor saves the settings to a file (separately for each chart) and uses them at the next launch.

The Expert Advisor can display information such as server and local time, current, maximum and minimum values of the balance (Balance), Equity (Equity), free funds( Free Margin), the collateral level (Margin Level) and drawdown (Drawdown).

The Expert Advisor does not perform trading operations, it only monitors the operations on the trading account.

The Expert Advisor does not work in the Strategy Tester. This is due to the fact that the Strategy Tester does not support the processing of ChartEvent events, which the Expert Advisor uses to interact with the user using the graphical interface.

Using the Expert Advisor

When you start the Expert Advisor, a control panel is displayed on the screen, consisting of the following elements: a list of events; a switch with which you can display information on the chart or hide it; a field for entering the interval for updating this information; three buttons: for writing settings to a file, reading them from a file and resetting to default values. Next to each event, you can enable or disable notifications of the corresponding type (you can enable several types of notifications for one event).

Types of notifications

• Push notifications are text messages that are sent to a mobile phone or tablet computer with the iOS or Android operating system. Before using Push Notifications, you need to install the mobile version of the MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 terminal on a mobile phone or tablet computer, and specify the MetaQuotes ID in the MetaTrader 5 terminal where the Advanced NotifyMe Expert Advisor is running. MetaQuotes ID is an 8-digit code consisting of numbers and letters of the Latin alphabet, you can find it in the MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 terminal on your mobile device.
• Mail notifications are text messages that are sent to you by email. Before using Mail Notifications, you must configure sending mail in the MetaTrader 5 terminal, in which the Advanced NotifyMe Expert Advisor is running.
• Sound notifications – sound signals that are played by the MetaTrader 5 terminal.

If you click on the settings button in the list of events, a window will appear with additional settings for this event. You can edit the text template for Push and Mail notifications, specify the minimum interval for notifications, and select an audio file for notifications. If the “Accumulate messages” field is selected (“accumulate messages”), messages about events that will occur during the specified notification interval will be “glued” into one message; if this field is not selected, they will be ignored. All these parameters can be configured separately for each event.

In the control panel of the Expert Advisor, you can enable the display of information such as time, balance, funds, free funds, drawdown on the screen.
