This indicator is a sequential
hybrid filter based on the combined use of the properties of the median and the
moving average.

Using the median allows you to filter out anomalous
outliers and random impulses in the values of the price series. At the
same time, the median filter does not affect the trend in the price movement, leaving it unchanged.

Since the median filter is non-linear,
averaging using a simple moving average is used to smooth out its values
. This approach allows you to more accurately identify not only the trend, but also the
periodic component in the price movement. In addition, it increases the
sensitivity of the indicator to price changes and reduces the delay between the
price range and the indicator readings. Thanks to this, the indicator can
accurately warn both about the beginning of a new trend and the end of an
old trend.

To adjust the depth of the filter and its sensitivity,
use the FL parameter. Its valid value is from 0 to 63. At the same time, for the calculation of
The indicator values use 2*FL 1 bars. Thus, the higher the
FL value, the stronger the price chart trends will be displayed by the
indicator.
