This script is designed to download a deep history of cryptocurrency quotes from the Binance exchange.
It is ideal for you if you want to download the quotation history once for chart analysis, statistics collection or testing of trading robots in the MetaTrader 5 tester, or if you need to update the quotation archive not too often (for example, once a day or once a week).
After running the script, you will receive full-fledged (but not automatically updated) cryptocurrency charts in your MetaTrader 5. You can apply templates, color schemes, technical indicators and any non-trading utilities to them, as well as make any graphical constructions. The only thing that will be unavailable is trading on these instruments on the Binance exchange (I’m working on it).
The script will not suit you if you want to use constantly updated online charts, use the Binance Quotes Updater service for this purpose.

Getting started
- Get API keys (API key and API secret) in your personal account on the Binance website.
- Add to the list of allowed URLs the addresses of the exchange to which the script (instruction) will be connected.
- Run the script by specifying the received API key and API secret in the settings.
After the first successful connection to the exchange, the keys will be stored encrypted on your computer, and in the future they can not be specified.
Parameters
Binance section — the section of the exchange you are going to work with (spot or futures).
To work with the futures section, API keys with the appropriate permissions are required!
API key and API secret – keys for working with the exchange (where can I get them?)
The keys need to be specified only at the first start on each computer.
Symbols/coins – a list of tools and/or coins to download (comma delimiter):
- If you specify one coin, all the tools that include this coin will be loaded.
For example, if you specify “BTC”, all BTCxxx and xxxBTC tools will be loaded: BTCUSDT, ETHBTC, LTCBTC, etc. - If you specify several coins, all the tools that can be made up of coin combinations will be loaded.
For example, if you specify “BTC,ETH,USDT”, “BTCUSDT”, “ETHBTC” and “ETHUSDT” will be loaded. - Finally, if you specify “all“, all available tools will be loaded.
Be careful! There are more than 1700 instruments in the spot section of the exchange, loading the history for all instruments can take a long time!

The download speed directly depends on the number of selected tools and the selected depth of history, and the quality of your Internet connection can also affect the speed.
During the download process, you will see a progress bar that will help you estimate the time remaining until the download is completed.
