The extremes of the daily price movement are strong support/resistance levels. Therefore, in the event of their breakdown, the price usually goes a considerable distance. This property of the markets is used by the Breakout robot to make a profit. The robot monitors the current price, and when it passes the level of the high or low of the previous day, it makes a deal in the appropriate direction. As the price moves in the direction of profit, the position is trailed by transferring the stop loss. First, the transfer is carried out to the breakeven point, and then the stop loss moves after the price in accordance with the adaptive trailing algorithm. Positions are closed at a stop loss when the price moves back. At the user’s choice, positions can be closed at the end of the day.
