CAP Equity Guard EA MT5

0.00

The CAP Equity Guard Expert Advisor constantly monitors the size of your own funds in your trading account and prevents costly drawdowns. CAP Equity Guard EA is useful for money management. In case of an emergency, you are sent a visual alert, a notification to your email and to your mobile device.

The Expert Advisor performs the following functions:

  • Monitors your entire trading account.
  • Easy to manage. Just drag it to any empty chart.
  • After restarting the MetaTrader 4 terminal, it will continue to work fully.
  • It can be used in conjunction with other Expert Advisors.
  • Visual, email, and push notifications.
  • It is possible to remove a third-party Expert Advisor after reaching the target level of funds.

Let’s look at the work of CAP Equity Guard using an example.

Set the EA to any empty chart when you don’t have any open trades. Let’s say that the amount of your own funds on your account is $ 1000, and the Expert Advisor settings specify ‘Profit Type=In Currency’ and ‘Profit Value=5.0’. You start trading manually or with the help of other Expert Advisors. When the current value of own funds increases by$ 5 (that is, the total amount of funds will be $ 1005), the Expert Advisor will close all trades and record a new value of funds equal to $ 1005. After re-increasing the funds by$ 5 from the last recorded value, the EA will close all trades again. The Expert Advisor uses a global variable to store the previous value of its own funds, so when closing the MetaTrader 4 terminal or restarting the VPS server, the Expert Advisor will restore the recorded value of funds from the global variable.

BASIC CONFIGURATIONS – Basic configuration

  • Slippage: Slippage when trading.

1. Run the EA when you don’t have any open trades.

2. The Expert Advisor works with an increase or decrease in the amount of its own funds. If you deposit / withdraw money with an open account and active Equity guard, the Expert Advisor will consider it a profit/loss and take action. For example: You set the profit from the funds in the amount of $ 5, and the recorded amount of funds is: 1000, so the target amount of funds for the Expert Advisor is 1005. Now you have five open trades and a floating loss of -50$. At this time, you top up the deposit by $ 100, and the current amount of your funds becomes equal to (Previous funds (1000) Floating Profit Margin/Loss (-50) New funds (100) = 1050. In this case, the new amount of funds becomes larger than the target value. Accordingly, the EA will close all trades. But initially you have a loss of $ 50. In order to avoid this kind of situation, it is recommended not to top up your deposit or withdraw money when you have open trades. If there are no open trades, you can deposit or withdraw money without restrictions. In case you need to deposit or withdraw money:

  1. Stop the Expert Advisor using the settings.
  2. Top up / withdraw funds.
  3. Change the recorded value of the amount of funds.
  4. Launch the EA by clicking the EA status button again.
