About the indicator

This indicator draws different sets of colored candlesticks above and below the Moving average (MA) line.

• Candlesticks above the MA line are colored blue (bullish) and dark blue (bearish).
• Candlesticks below the MA line are colored light red (bullish) and dark red (bearish).

The indicator includes all the standard MA parameters: period, shift, method, and price.

Users should make sure that all input variables and parameters (period, shift, method, and price) on the presented indicator exactly match the variables and parameters of the standard moving average.

Before using this indicator, you must remove the price line from the chart (see the instructions below).

Notes: Although the price chart is hidden, it is not disabled, and the Open, High, Low, and Close prices are available in the “Market Overview” window of the terminal (Ctrl D or View → Market Overview). The accuracy of the Open, High, Low and Close parameters of the indicator can be checked by comparing them with Open, High, Low and Close in the “Market Overview” window of the terminal.

Parameters

All input data and default parameters can be changed and saved to a custom file with the .set extension for later recall and reuse using the “Load” and “Save” buttons on the “Parameters” tab. To change the colors, use the Options tab, not the Colors tab.

• MA Period – 100;                       
• iMA Shift (iMA shift) – 0;                        
• MA Method – Exponential;
• MA Price – Close price;
• Above MA up candle – CornflowerBlue;
• Above MA down candle ( bear candle above MA) – RoyalBlue;
• Below MA up candle (bullish candle under MA) – Red;
• Below MA down candle ( bear candle under MA) – FireBrick.
