Double Parabolic MTF Histo

0.00

Parabolic SAR is one of the most popular indicators that allows you to determine the trend reversal in a timely manner, get an early entry point and accurately determine the place of profit taking.

Parabolic SAR is very effective when there is a trend in the market, but it often gives false signals in the flat. To filter such signals, you can use the same indicator on higher timeframes. This eliminates the main drawback of the indicator in the flat, while maintaining its advantage of an early entry in the direction of the trend.

The Double Parabolic MTF Histo indicator implements this idea and combines two timeframes on one Parabolic chart. The Parabolic of the higher timeframe determines the trend, and the Parabolic of the lower timeframe determines the entry point to the market in the direction of the trend.

You can try the demo version of the indicator here.

—– Parabolic’s TF offsets block – offset of the Parabolic timeframe relative to the current timeframe. Can be greater than or equal to 0. A value of 1 means 1 older, 2 2 older, etc. For example, if the current period is M5, then at an offset of 1, the indicator will show Parabolic data on M15, and at an offset of 2, the indicator will show Parabolic data on M30:

  • Offset of SAR #1 relative to the current TF (can be >0 or =0)> – timeframe offset Parabolic 1 (default 0 – current timeframe)
  • Offset of SAR #2 relative to the current TF (can be >0 or =0)> – offset of the Parabolic 2 timeframe (default 2-2 timeframes higher than the current one)

—– Parabolic’s parameters block-standard parameters of the Parabolic SAR indicator:

  • step – the price change step
  • maximum – maximum price change
  • Method of building SL levels-building StopLoss levels:
    • Disabled – SL levels are disabled
    • from SAR #1-building on Parabolic 1 (by default-the current timeframe)
    • from SAR #2-building on Parabolic 2 (by default-2 timeframes higher than the current one)
  • Arrows of signals in main window-allow displaying signal arrows in the main window
  • Arrow Size – the size of the signal arrows in the main window
  • Color of UP/DOWN trend signal – colors of the signal arrows for buying/selling
  • Show Graph Panel-display a graphical panel with data from other timeframes. Set it to Falseif you use the indicator signals in the Expert Advisor or you do not need signals from other TFS
  • Disabled – SL levels are disabled
  • from SAR #1-building on Parabolic 1 (by default-the current timeframe)
  • from SAR #2-building on Parabolic 2 (by default-2 timeframes higher than the current one)

—– Messages/Sounds – – – – – (block of notifications and sound settings):

  • ON/OFF-Sound when the signal – enable / disable the sound signal
  • Sound signal of entry points in the direction of the trend – the name of the sound file for the market entry signal (the signal occurs on a closed bar)
  • Sound signal when Parabolic switches its direction on some TF – the name of the sound file for the signal when switching the Parabolic on a separate timeframe
  • ON/OFF-Alert-enable / disable messages in the terminal when signals occur
  • ON/OFF-Mail-sending messages to email
  • ON/OFF-Push-sending push messages to mobile devices
