Modification of this well-known Gekko peak and trough index. Find important peaks and troughs on the graph of any emblem or timeframe based on a pair of configurations which adjust the indicator into the traded tool.

• calculate tops and bottoms for the past X pubs: the number of bars for which the indicator will construct tops and bottoms. The lower the value, the faster the operation rate.
• At Least two Bars Making fresh Highs or Lows to confirm: true-take into consideration new highs or lows just when the last 2 bars had highs and lows; false-check only the last bar. The value “true” is recommended to make the indicator more smooth, avoiding false highs and lows.
• Make sure New Top/Bottom is greater than last: check that the new top/bottom is greater than the previous one, by default false. Set to true to filter out “noise” and consider a new vertex / trough only if it is higher/lower than the previous vertex/trough in the last X bars.
• Number of Bars for the Last Top or Bottom: the number of bars to check. If the previous parameter is set to true, enter here the number of bars that will be taken into account for checking the new top/bottom.
• % Variation from Last High/Low to Confirm New Top/Bottom: percentage difference from the previous top/bottom. Enter a non-zero value that will set the percentage difference from the current peak/trough to eliminate noise and avoid false highs/lows.
• Shows Last Top Horizontal Line: Shows a horizontal line along the previous vertex, useful for use as a resistance area.
• Shows Last Bottom Horizontal Line: Shows a horizontal line along the previous trough, useful for use as a support area.
• Plays a sound when there is a swing: if set to true, the indicator will play a sound signal in the MetaTrader terminal when a new peak or trough is detected, indicating an entry or exit point.
• Write Logs On Terminal Window-if set to true, the indicator will add entries about peaks/troughs to the Expert Log.
• Send Mobile Push Notifications – if set to true, push notifications about signals will be sent to your smartphone.
• Send E-Mail Alerts: If set to true, you will receive notifications about peaks/troughs by e-mail.To do this, you need to configure the terminal.
