HedgeTerminalUltimate

0.00

HedgeTerminal is a full-fledged trading terminal inside the MetaTrader 5 trading terminal itself. This is a graphical panel that resembles a MetaTrader 4 terminal. With it, you can track multidirectional positions in the way that is possible in MetaTrader 4, that is, you can open an unlimited number of positions on a single instrument, even if these positions are in full or partial hedge (lock). Thus, HedgeTerminal gives you the opportunity to maintain long and short positions at the same time, which is not possible in the environment of MetaTrader 5. HedgeTerminal provides significant advantages in the work of a trader, and also has a number of properties that make the work of a trader more efficient and successful:

  • Multidirectional positions and swap-free hedge. HedgeTerminal allows you to trade in different directions and even save money when calculating swaps. It is known that the accrued swap when hedging positions in MetaTrader 4 is always negative. This is due to the fact that the broker either does not pay you the interest rate when it is positive for you, and vice versa, you pay your broker even more interest when the interest rate on currencies is negative for you. MetaTrader 5 compares favorably with its older counterpart in that it does not allow the broker to charge a negative swap for a fully hedged position, since this position does not exist for it. However, if your trading tactics use full or partial hedge, you could not trade simply and reliably in MetaTrader 5, and its advantages were not available to you, because your positions were not seen by MetaTrader 5. HedgeTerminal solves this complexity. Now your hedged positions are visible to you and only to you, while your broker will not see any open positions. Swaps will not be charged, which means that your trading tactics in the MetaTrader 5 environment will become more profitable than in the MetaTrader 4 environment.
  • Independence from duplicate tools with the _mpostfix . Some brokers in the MetaTrader 5 environment provide duplicate or hedging symbols. These are instruments with the same names and trading conditions as the main symbols, but only their names usually have the postfix ‘_m’at the end. This is done in order to make it easier for you to hedge your positions, and it is easier for the broker to receive additional remuneration from you as negative swaps. However, for real work, duplicate tools are usually too few, and sometimes they do not exist at all. The number of positions increases, strategies for their maintenance become more complex, and commission payments increase. With HedgeTerminal, using duplicate tools becomes pointless. On a single instrument, you open as many positions as you need, while saving on swaps.
  • Real stop loss levels. Each hedging position can be accompanied by its own individual stop loss, which is executed on the server. Regardless of whether your terminal is turned on or not, all protective stops will be executed if necessary. HedgeTerminal correctly processes stop losses and immediately determines what happened to the position during its absence.
  • The ability to trade with experts. HedgeTerminal was created primarily to support automated trading. Any Expert Advisor, indicator, or script can interact with HedgeTerminal through a special library and manage its positions as easily as it does in MetaTrader 4. Actions performed by one of your Expert Advisors are immediately visible to all other Expert Advisors, as well as to you through the visual HedgeTermianal panel.
  • Remote interaction with VPS and group trading. HedgeTerminal can help you in the following cases: your automatic trading algorithms running on a remote VPS, and you follow them through the MetaTrader 5 running on your computer; you are an investor and you need to track individual positions of traders working for you; you need anywhere in the world to receive information about your position, algorithms and traders. HedgeTerminal does not create a database of its positions on the computer on which it is installed. Instead, it generates its positions right at launch from the data available through the MetaTrader 5 software interface. This means that wherever it is launched, HedgeTerminal or the experts using it will always see the same positions and track their changes in real time.
  • Advanced visual controls. HedgeTerminal provides a convenient and functional graphical table (panel), similar to the MetaTrader 4/5 terminal. Through it, you can close a hedging position in full or only part of its volume, set a stop loss or take profit, set a trailing stop. You can customize the table itself by adding or removing the columns you need, and change their size.
  • Does not require changing your trading style. Do you use positional trading or fast scalping techniques inside small timeframes? Do you make trades directly in the MetaTrader 5 glass? Do you prefer to trade through the quick trade panel on the chart? Do you use the classic window for creating a new order? All these methods are good in their own way, choose any one. A new hedging position can be opened in any way. However, you can only close a hedging position using the HedgeTerminal panel or through its program interface.
