As you know, volatility is a measure of deviation. This indicator is not an oscillator. We are not looking for buy or sell signals using this indicator. We simply find a time when the market is calm, and make an entry or wait for the moment when the markets become active.
The calculation of the main line of the indicator is based on the difference between the maximum and minimum of the selected period (Father Period).
The calculation of the signal line is based on the moving averages (smoothed and weighted) of the main line.
Bustling markets:
- When the main vertical line rises above the signal line, it means the active current state of the market.
Quiet markets:
- When the main vertical line falls below the signal line, it means a calm current state of the market.
Having determined a good price movement using the Holy Trinity Prices and Peaker indicators, it is recommended to use this indicator to make a decision on whether to trade in an active market or wait for a calmer state.
- Father Period –the number of bars on which the calculation of the main line is based. The selected value determines the behavior of the main line of the indicator.
- Son Period– this number, respectively, determines the formation of the signal line. This parameter plays an important role in creating a suitable signal line that indicates the current trend for making a decision to enter the market.
- Holy Spirit-this value is used with the Father Period parameter to form a more stable signal line.
