Andrews Pitchfork Pro Indicator (Andrews Pitchfork) For MetaTrader 4, it is equipped with alerts, trigger levels and sliders. Each line can have its own color, style, and meaning. Each fork has a special menu for managing additional properties. The indicator does not require any additional actions. Forks are drawn using the tools of MetaTrader 4 itself. Hold down the left mouse button on the reference point P0 for about one second to open an additional menu of fork properties, in particular the number of levels, trigger lines and sliders. The menu disappears if you move the mouse cursor to the side. The” magnetic alignment ” of the Pitchfork Pro indicator automatically moves the object’s anchor points to the lows or highs on the lowest possible timeframe in accordance with the available candlestick history on the terminal. Like my other products, Andrews Pitchfork PRO was designed to not overload the graph with data and still remain efficient.

• Show Levels ON/OFF-hide / show levels,
• All 9 levels ON/OFF – when OFF, the specified number of levels is used, when ON, all nine levels are displayed,
• Trigger line P1 ON/OFF-display the trigger line going through the anchor point P1,
• Trigger line P2 ON/OFF-display the trigger line going through the anchor point P2,
• Slider line ON/OFF-create / delete a slider near the anchor point P1.

• Set suffix different from chart period (minutes). – set a suffix other than the chart period in minutes. For more information, see the Comments section.
• Show pitchfork levels while pitchfork is created? – show / hide fork levels. Regardless of the selection, the levels are available in the indicator menu.
• Number of predefined level lines (max 9) – the number of displayed levels. All nine levels are available in the indicator menu.
• Style of trigger lines – style of trigger lines (0-4).
• Width of trigger lines – the width of the trigger lines. The color of the lines and sliders is the color of the forks. The style of the sliding lines defines the style of the pitchfork.
• Pitchfork_Level_value_1 up to …9 – level values (1-9). First, you need to set the values for the displayed levels.
• Pitchfork_Level_color_1 up to …9 – the color of each level.
• Pitchfork_Level_style_1 up to …9-style of each level.
• Pitchfork_Level_width_1 up to …9 – width of each level.
• Amount of bars – the number of bars on the current chart to search for the specified (P0, P1, P2) highs or lows on smaller timeframes.
  Too many bars can cause unexpected anchor point movements.
• Magnet sensitivity in pips – the sensitivity of the” magnetic ” binding in pips. Too large a distance can lead to unwanted bindings of points to candlesticks.

To control the Andrews pitchfork on the chart, a suffix is added to the indicator file name to store the indicator properties. If the suffix is not specified, the control is performed on the current timeframe and the contents of the file can be copied by another indicator from another chart with the same suffix. Set the suffix other than the chart period in minutes. To get the properties of an object or delete a fork, set the anchor point P0. If the fork anchor point P1 is set to the future, the levels and the creeping line disappear. Also, if any of the anchor points are set to the future, automatic binding does not work. If the pitchfork is moved to a different location, the sliding line is automatically removed. The indicator controls only the forks drawn by the means of the MetaTrader 4 toolbox and created by the indicator
Toolbox PRO 1. If you do not want to copy Pitchfork Pro with all levels, run KL_Pitchfork_Pro. ex4 on the destination graph. After copying the forks to another graph, they can be “frozen”. The indicator can be selected and has a working menu, but the object cannot be moved. For correct testing in the strategy tester, use the Andrews Pitchfork indicator
