The indicator builds a
corridor from the Moving Average, shifted up and down by “n” ATR (“n” is set in the settings).
- The price crossing
the middle line of the indicator from the bottom up is a buy signal. - The price crossing
the middle line of the indicator from top to bottom is a sell signal. - The price crossing
the upper line of the indicator indicates overbought and a possible local
pullback. - If the price crosses
the lower line of the indicator, it indicates oversold conditions and a possible local pullback.
Indicator Parameters:
- MA period – the period of the moving
average used for plotting. - MA shift – the shift of
the moving average used for plotting, relative to the price chart. - Applied to the-the price
at which the moving average is calculated. - Method of smoothing –
the method of averaging MA. - ATR period – ATR period
to offset the MA up and down. - Offset MA on ATR – how much ATR should offset MA.
- Shift indicator – the shift of the
indicator relative to the price chart.
