The PipTick Cumulative Delta indicator displays the total sum of individual delta volume values. By providing an overview of the current order flow, it helps traders decide on the direction of trading. You can also configure the display of the indicator in the form of candlesticks or a line chart. The calculation of delta volumes is based on the PipTick Volume Delta indicator.

As you know, the forex market is decentralized, and therefore we do not have reliable information about the real volume. We also do not know the actual and historical values of bid volumes (sellers ‘volumes) and ask volumes (buyers’ volumes). But we can use tick volumes of Bid and Ask prices to determine the activity of buyers and sellers! Thus, thanks to a special algorithm, we can get a volume that is very similar to the futures market. Thanks to this functionality, we can analyze the flow of buy and sell orders.

How to use the PipTick Cumulative Delta indicator?

First of all, it should be noted that it is inefficient to use the indicator on higher timeframes. The number of buyers and sellers is balanced on the higher timeframes, so the indicator indicators have no value. Therefore, it is recommended to use it on charts from M1 to M5.

The context of the order flow in the market should be analyzed for the last ten to thirty minutes. It is always necessary to evaluate the activity of both parties, i.e. buyers and sellers.
