- The MACD Alert indicator contains two types of alerts:
- The main line and the signal line of the MACD intersect – an early sign of a pullback or trend change.
- Zero crossing is a reversal of the histogram to the opposite side of the zero line, as in the standard MACD oscillator.
- Arrows: the up and down arrows show the intersection of the signal line and the main line from top to bottom – a sell signal. The arrow below the line indicates a buy signal.
- Zero symbol arrows: indicate when the histogram is flipped to the other side of the zero level.
