Relative Strength Index Trader

0.00

To open positions, the Expert Advisor uses the signals of the Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicator.

Input parameters:

  • Period of RSI – the period of the RSI indicator;
  • Signal level in percent – the level that the line must cross in order to receive a signal to open a position;
  • Take in atr, 0 – do not use a take profit – the size of the take profit at ATR (50) calculated on the current timeframe. If the parameter value is 0, it is not used;
  • Stop in atr, 0 – do not use a stop – the size of the stop loss. If the value is 0, it is not used;
  • Trailing in atr, 0 – do not use a trailing-the size of the trailing stop. If the value is 0, it is not used;
  • Risk factor, volume eq Equty*Risk factor/1000-used to calculate the working lot size, which is calculated as Equity*Risk factor/1000. For example, if the Equity value is 10000, the Risk factor is 0.01, the volume will be equal to 10000*0.01/1000 = 0.1;
  • Volume in lots if Risk factor is 0 – the volume of the working lot. If the Risk factor is set to 0, a fixed volume will be used.

The RSI indicator is an oscillator, so it is recommended to use it on those instruments that have relatively fewer trend areas. The price movement that can be captured is also small, in this regard, it is recommended to use relatively short take profits and stop losses.
