In Japanese, Heikin means “medium” and Ashi means “leg”. Heikin-Ashi is a Japanese chart drawing technique that uses average price values to build candlesticks. This technique smooths out the noise in the candlestick charts in order to give a better idea of the trend. Another example of a smoothing indicator is the moving average, which can also be used in combination with Heikin-Ashi.

Blue candles mean an uptrend, and red candles mean a downtrend. For example, if the period in question is in an uptrend, then the panel will show blue for this period. It will also display a visual “buy” signal after changing the color of the candle from red to blue. To achieve the best results, it is recommended to take into account signals from other timeframes and/or indicators before making a trading decision.

• Show Panel – panel visibility settings: true or false.
• Dialog Mode – Vertical/Horizontal display mode, i.e. if horizontal mode is selected, timeframes will be displayed horizontally.
• Overlay Indicator – the setting allows you to display the Heikin Ashi indicator on top of the chart.
• Uptrend Color – the color of the uptrend on the panel, additional settings are available to change the color of the uptrend candle
• Buy Signal Color – the color of the buy signal on the panel when the candle color changes
• Downtrend Color – the color of the downtrend on the panel
• Sell Signal Color – the color of the sell signal on the panel
• Alert Shift – delay of the candle on the signal, enter 1 to send an alert after passing 1 candle.
• Alert Mobile – select true/false to receive push notifications, check the correct device settings here.
• Alert Onscreen – select true/false to get an alert on the screen, this alert is shown in a separate window.
• Alert Email – select true/false to receive email notifications, check the email settings here.
