The index draws the colored weighted moving geometrical mean in the price graph window. additionally, this indicator can be used for colour rendering of additional signs that do not have this feature by default. Trend condition Geometric Mean can be drawn with the worth of another indicator, but in this case all values of this indicator has to be greater than zero.

• Averaging interval – the period of averaging the indicator.
• first weight – the weight of the first (earliest) value of the compounding interval.
• Weight increment – increment of the weight of the averaged values.
• Vertical shift – vertical shift of the indicator in points.
• Horizontal shift – horizontal shift of the indicator in bars.

The Averaging period parameter must be greater than zero. In addition, the following relationship between the parameter values must be satisfied:

• FW – value of the First weight parameter.
• WI – value of the Weight incrementation parameter.
• AP – value of the Averaging period parameter.
• “! = “- the relation “not equal”.

There are no restrictions on the values of the Vertical shift and Horizontal shift parameters.

• To draw a classic geometric moving average, set the First weight parameter to one and the Weight incrementation parameter to zero.
• To color-draw the values of another indicator, follow these steps::
  1. Select the indicator that you want to display in color. For example, let’s take the Adaptive Moving Average indicator from the standard set of the terminal. This indicator currently does not have the ability to display values in different colors (screenshot 6).
  2. After setting the indicator parameters, select the rendering color None (screenshot 7), then click OK.
  3. Run the Trend state Geometric Mean indicator, set the Averaging period and First weight parameters to one and the Weight increment parameter to zero (screenshot 8). You can set the Vertical shift and Horizontal shift parameters at your own discretion.
  4. After that, go to the Parameters tab of the indicator settings window and select the Previous Indicator’s Data value in the “Apply to:” field (screenshot 9).
  5. On the Colors tab, set the desired drawing style and colors. The first color is for increasing values, the second is for decreasing values (screenshot 10).
  6. Click OK, and as a result, you will get the values of the indicator you selected drawn in different colors (screenshot 11)!
