A lot has to do with the combination of units in the trade. In Forex, the standard lot is equal to 100,000 units of the quoted currency of the traded forex instrument. The lot Calculator helps you determine the size of the trade or contract of any position you want to open in order to avoid too much risk. It is possible to use either a percentage of the balance or equity of your account or a lot in monetary value.
