The VIP Consolidation Price indicator shows areas of price consolidation (a large concentration of sellers and buyers).
If these areas break through, the price is likely to continue moving in the chosen direction.
The wider the price consolidation area, the more likely it is that after breaking through the boundaries, the price will not be able to return to the opposite border of the price consolidation channel.
The narrower this area, the higher the probability that the price will break through the boundaries several times before determining the direction of movement. The color of the channel indicates the most likely price movement.
For scalpers:
- BUY – when the upper limit of the channel is broken. Stop Loss is 3-5 points below the broken border.
- SELL – when the lower border of the channel is broken. Stop Loss is 3-5 points above the broken border.
For day traders:
- You can place a Stop Loss on the opposite side of the price consolidation channel.
- Take Profit on trailing stop, pivot or fibo levels.
