what is currency pair inversion?
Inverting a currency pair means displaying the exchange rate between two currencies that invert the main currency of the transaction. For example,
if you want to plot EURUSD, GBPUSD, and USDJPY on the same overlay chart, it makes sense to invert USDJPY so that the price
reflected the reverse rate: JPYUSD. Thus, the price of JPYUSD will move in a positive correlation with the other two symbols
superimposed graph, which makes it easier to study the graph.
Testing the indicator
This indicator uses price data from multiple symbols to draw on a single chart. Since the MetaTrader 4 Tester (at the
time of writing) does not support multi-currency history tests, testing the indicator is not possible, since it does not
will get quotes from other characters that need to be superimposed. To check it out, please rent it for one
month.
input data
- Symbol Settings-Enter the names of the currency pairs or symbols that you want to display on the overlay chart. You need to enter
at least one of them, so that the overlay chart has two currency pairs (native and foreign). If the character is left blank or
does not exist on the platform, it will be ignored. - Invert Settings-invert the chart and the name of any currency pair entered above. For example, you can choose to display
USDJPY in the form of JPYUSD, which will cause the indicator to invert the price chart, calculate the reverse exchange rate, and
display it accordingly on the overlay chart. - Visual Settings-Adjust the number of displayed price lines, as well as colors and sizes for labels and lines.
