The KForce indicator shows the points where the price is outside the normal movement. This is achieved by classifying the force of movement into three types: light, medium and strong.

The yellow bars represent light movements, indicating that the price is slightly cheaper or more expensive than usual. As a rule, yellow bars are not strong signals. The orange bars represent medium-strength movements. This is a good sign that the price is further than normal values, and can be considered a good entry point if you are interested in a more active system. And finally, the red bars represent prices that are intensively moving away from the usual movement. These bars are less common, but provide safer entry or exit points.

On lower timeframes, such as M1, M5, and M15, it is recommended to use a higher historical period value, such as 65. On higher timeframes, such as H1 and H4, it is desirable to use a smaller value of the history period, for example, 25.

  • Look Back Period – the number of bars on the history to determine the price behavior.
  • Layer One – the first level to determine how far the price has deviated from the average value. The smaller this parameter, the more sensitive the signal is, which means more signals. Light signal (yellow).
  • Layer Two – the second level for determining how much the price deviated from the average value. The smaller this parameter, the more sensitive the signal is, which means more signals. Medium signal (orange).
  • Layer Three – the third level for determining how much the price deviated from the average value. The smaller this parameter, the more sensitive the signal is, which means more signals. Strong signal (red).

It is recommended to leave a distance of at least two points between the layers/levels. For example: 2, 4, 6 or 4, 7, 10.

These different layers/levels are very valuable for those who are interested in creating an averaging system. You can enter the market when the indicator turns yellow, and make a second entry when the indicator turns orange, and so on.
