The FXTT Trendline Expert Advisor for MT5 is a robot that helps you trade using trend lines drawn on your chart.

In essence, it allows you to set pending orders using trend lines. Something that is not available in MetaTrader by default.

The use and configuration of the Expert Advisor is as follows:

• Download the Expert Advisor
• Draw your trend lines on the chart
• Add actions for the purchase or sale of your trend line
• If desired, you can configure specific actions for each line
• Let the expert manage your trades

• Enabled – enable the Expert Advisor.
• Magic Number – the magic number for all open orders.
• Maximum Slippage (in points) – the maximum allowable slippage (in pips) for open orders.
• Default Stop Loss (in points) – the default stop loss value in points, which is used if this value is not specified for the trend line.
• Default Take Profit (in points) – the default take profit value in points, which is used if this value is not specified for the trend line.
• Default Lot Size – the default lot size that is used if this value is not specified for the trend line.
• Type of breakout – for breakout events, a method for determining breakouts:
• On close of candle-the order will be opened only after the candle that broke the trend line is closed.
• On distance in pips-the order will be opened as soon as the price breaks the trend lines by the number of pips specified in “Breakout distance in pips”.
• Breakout distance in pips – breakout distance in pips, used only when the “On distance in pips” option is enabled. This parameter allows you to specify the distance from the trend line in pips, which the Expert Advisor will consider a breakout.
• Buy Type – a custom action to buy (when the Bid or Ask price touches the trend line).
• Reentry Type-Allow one order per trend line (open a new order after closing the previous one) or several.
• Minimum shift for false breakouts – the number of pips that the price must pass after the trend line to trigger the action for false breakouts.
• Popup Alerts-Show a popup alert every time the price reaches the trend line.
• Email Alerts-Send an email notification every time the price reaches the trend line.
• Send push notifications-Send a push notification every time the price reaches the trend line.
• Sound Alerts-Play a sound alert every time the price reaches the trend line.
• Sound file name – wav file to play as an audio signal.
